Solve for y in problems 1-4. Remember, the slope-intercept form is y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.
1. x + y = 3
2. 2x - y = 7
3. -6 + 2y = 10x
4. 3y – 6x + 12 = 0
Solve for y; state the slope (m) and y-intercept (b) for problems 5-8.
5. 2y – 6x = 2
6. y – 4x = -3
7. 4y = 5x + 12
8. 2x – 3y = 5
